Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer group tutoring options?
Yes! I can work with groups of 2-5 students that are all around the same level of Spanish, or attending the same class in school. The same level of instruction is offered that you would receive in my individual tutoring sessions. With the online tutoring option, the students don't even all have to be in the same location. Also in my groups as opposed to my 1 on 1 sessions, I can use activities that allow students to work together and help each other learn.
Group Tutoring Rates:
2 students: $35 each
3 students: $30 each
4 students: $25 each
5 students: $18 each
This allows it to be cheaper for each student, but allows me the opportunity to plan more and give more individual attention.
I don't live near you-do you tutor online?
Absolutely! In fact, I work with most of my students online. Even with the youngest students, it can be super simple, and most students love it!
What do you charge?
I charge $60 per hour. ($30 per half hour session for younger children up to 5th grade).
On websites like TutorZ, you'll find many tutors charging $100/hr. While I could charge $100/hr, I really like to work with families and be more cost effective. As a speaker of Spanish for 26 years, I have a passion to help kids learn to speak from an early age and make them enthusiastic and confident lifelong language learners.
